Would you like to learn to make beautiful, functional, things with your own hands and help to preserve our heritage? Gaining the skills of a traditional craftsperson takes time, dedication and intimate knowledge of the materials.

Skilled rural crafts were handed down from generation to another but in our modern world, opportunities to learn are increasingly few and far between. As a consequence, many of the traditional rural crafts are at risk of disappearing. When they are gone there will be no one left to pass on our wonderful rural heritage.

Every customer will take something life-changing home, whether it is a wonderful craft product, a lasting passion for the craft, a love for working in the woodland, or perhaps a sense of growing authenticity.  We believe our short courses will inspire you to take your passion further and set about acquiring the skills you need that could change your life.

We are able to offer these courses through our collaboration with The Rewild project, who are well established providers of green wood-working and traditional craft workshops.
